What is Augment for Open Source?

Augment for Open Source makes the power of Augment free to open source contributors and maintainers.

Who is eligible for the program?

The program is available to any US-based developer. Please join the waitlist to be notified when we expand the program outside of the United States.

Are there restrictions for what projects I can work on with Augment?

No. You can work on any type of project with Augment–open source licensed or unlicensed projects that permit AI training use.

Why is the program limited to the United States?

In order to offer Augment for free to the open source community, we have optimized our infrastructure to support US-based access. Please join our waitlist to be notified when we expand the program.

How will my data be used?

Augment may use the data you upload to the service or data from your usage of the product for training our AI models and inform future product decisions. You can view all the details in our terms of service.

What if I don’t want you to train on my data?

Augment’s enterprise terms of service exclude any AI training on your data or usage for paying customers. If you would like to use Augment as part of your organization, please contact us.

Will you charge me in the future?

Augment does not currently offer paid individual plans. Access and requirements for the program may change in the future, but we will provide ample notice of those changes.
