We're happy to offer unlimited Agent usage on both the trial and paid plan while we develop our pricing model. We've heard your frustrations with confusing AI pricing elsewhere, which is why we launched with unlimited access from day one—we want you to explore everything without restrictions.

These advanced models do come with real costs that we need to cover to grow sustainably, and we're committed to creating a fair and transparent solution with input from our community. We reserve the right to enforce a fair use policy during peak usage times of our platform. If this happens, you'll see a message in the product. We'll share our complete pricing plans with you in the next 30 days, and we appreciate your support as we build something that works for everyone.

When we decide to add limitations, we will communicate to all users about it and you can decide to opt out of your current plan or keep using Augment with the new limitations.

This is why we are currently only offering monthly payment options. We want to ensure you have the flexibility to make choices that work best for you when changes occur.

On paid plans, developers can use Augment Code as much as they want—no overages or extra fees—so you don’t have to worry about tokens with each task.

Agent is currently unlimited on all plans, including during trial. For a limited time. But we might enforce fair use policy during peak time.

On the Community plan, for fair use, we limit chats to 3,000 messages per month. All other features are unlimited.

The Community plan is made for single developer, unless you’re working on liberally licensed open-source software in which case we can accommodate a larger a team. Contact us to learn more.

By signing up for a free trial of the Developer plan, you are able to use the full power of Augment for 14 days without allowing AI training on your data.

You’ll have unlimited usage of agent, chat, completions, instructions, and Next Edit.

You have several options when your trial ends. You can choose to:

1. Upgrade to our Developer or Enterprise plan
2. Switch to our free Community plan
3. Simply stop using the extension

Rest assured that your data privacy is protected. We won't use any of your data to train our models unless you specifically choose to move to the Community plan. If you decide Augment isn't for you, you can simply stop using the extension and your data will remain private.

No - your data remains completely private during your trial. During your trial, you get all Developer plan benefits, which includes keeping your data private with no AI training. When your trial ends, you can:

1. Continue with the Developer or Enterprise plan to maintain data privacy
2. Switch to our free Community plan, which allows AI training with your data

We'll never use your data for training unless you give us explicit permission by choosing the Community plan.

No. Developer and Enterprise plans exclude any AI training on your data as part of our Enterprise Terms of Service.

We're able to offer a free community plan because your real world usage and data help us make our AI models even better. Think of it as a win-win where you get the most accurate developer AI while helping us improve! If you prefer to not have your data used in training, check out our paid plans.
