Job Overview

The Solution Architect is a pivotal player in our customer engagements. This role involves combining practical coding experience and exceptional business acumen to explicitly highlight Augment's unique offerings to our clients. A successful Solution Architect will design compelling demos, implement convincing proofs of value (POVs), provide top-tier customer support, all while integrating Augment's key differentiators into each interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage deep understanding of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and extensive experience as a software engineer to showcase the value of Augment's solutions.
  • Design and execute impactful POVs that vitalize and personalize Augment's benefits for prospective clients.
  • Develop dynamic demo environments to illustrate the immediate speed and quality enhancements Augment's AI-powered software solutions deliver.
  • Deliver superior technical customer support, ensuring customers extract maximum value from our unique offerings.
  • Interface between sales, product, and engineering teams, delivering invaluable customer feedback and helping curate our sales and product strategies.
  • Devise comprehensive product documentation and support content that effectively communicates how Augment reinvents the software development process.

Qualifications

  • Formal education in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Recent hands-on experience with coding and utilizing an IDE.
  • A track record of success in a Solution Architect, or similarly customer-facing technical role.
  • A good communicator who can distill complex concepts and articulate the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Robust knowledge of software security principles, especially related to IP protection.
